Abstract

HIV/AIDS remains a global health challenge requiring effective care and support from healthcare professionals, including nurses and midwives. The knowledge, attitudes, and willingness to provide care for patients living with HIV/AIDS significantly influence the quality of care provided. This review explores the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and the tendency of nurses and midwives to care for HIV/AIDS patients. The findings highlight the critical role of education, training, and workplace policies in improving healthcare professionals' competence and willingness to care for these patients.
