Abstract

Educational games have a huge role in the overall development of children in creche. They are a teaching tool to promote early learning through play that is tailored to the cognitive, motor, social and emotional needs of young children. This article analyses the influence of educational games on preschool learning, emphasizing their impact on the development of language, motor skills, socialization, and autonomy. The study is based on a theoretical review of research within early childhood education and developmental psychology and on a questionnaire for parents. Results show that parents encourage the use of games in children’s learning.
