Abstract

This article on the determinants of the adoption of banking agent services by micro-enterprises in the Lukunga district of Kinshasa tested the hypothesis that the adoption of banking agent services is explained by perceived utility, enabling conditions, expected performance, perceived risk, social influence and the characteristics of the banking agent service. Univariate, bivariate and multivariate analyses confirmed this hypothesis. Thus, the adoption of banking agent services is influenced by individual, structural and contextual factors, enabling conditions, and the characteristics of the banking agent service.

Keywords: Banking agent, banking agent service, adoption of the banking agent service.
