Abstract

The aim of this study was to identify the factors associated with survival in patients with prostate cancer.

This was a retrospective study conducted on 685 case records, of which 139 were from patients diagnosed with prostate cancer in a hospital setting.

The results show that certain factors, such as early diagnosis, the stage of the cancer at the time of diagnosis, the patient’s age and the type of treatment administered, significantly influenced the survival of patients with prostate cancer.
